Details
A magnificent vintage ceramic soup tureen, hand painted in Italy for Lefton and complete with its original ladle. With its sculptural handles, ornate lid, and warm floral decoration, this is the kind of serving piece that becomes the centerpiece of the table before dinner is even served.
The tureen measures approximately 15 inches from handle to handle. The interior bowl measures 10½ inches long × 8¾ inches wide × 5 inches deep. The coordinating ladle measures 10¼ inches long.
There are two small chips along the inner rim, which are concealed when the lid is in place. There is another small chip on the outer edge of the rim (visible in the last photo). The ladle is in excellent condition, and the tureen is in very good overall vintage condition. Please refer to photographs for details.
