Some pieces are beautiful. Others tell a story.
Hand painted in 1962 and gifted from one friend to another, this elegant cake platter carries both. A sweeping gold monogram sits at the center while the scalloped rim is decorated with intricate hand-painted gold detailing that feels equally at home on a holiday table or displayed in a cabinet collection.
Measuring a generous 12” across, this platter is ideal for cakes, pastries, cookies, or seasonal displays. The inscription on the back records the original 1962 gift, preserving a small piece of its history for the next home.
The platter appears never to have been used and remains in mint condition.
Please note: when in use, the ornate gold border naturally draws the eye, making the center monogram far less noticeable than you might expect.
