Vintage Triumph American Limoges Vermillion Rose Covered Casserole / Soup Tureen

Founded in 1900 to compete with the European market, American Limoges made dinnerware under this name from the mid 1940's until early 1955 when they filed for bankruptcy. Called Vermillion Rose, this pattern features a rose design in an autumnal shade of red with a warranted 22k gold rim. Measuring 6 1/2"h, 9"wide from handle to handle it is 3 1/4" deep. There is some light crazing across the surface but there are no chips or cracks and the it is in very good overall condition.
