Collected vintage Limoges salad plates in the Renoir pattern by Georges Boyer
This stunning vintage salad plate was made in Limoges, France for Georges Boyer and was hand-painted after the works of Renoir.
A number of these plates were famously gifted to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy during her visit to Paris in May of 1963—adding a layer of history to an already beautiful piece. This was a limited collection and is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
The plate measures 8 1/2” across the surface and appears to have been rarely, if ever used. Sold as open stock (single plate), please select quantity desired from the drop down menu.
There are no chips or cracks and it is in excellent overall condition.
