It was the beautiful, almost lavender-gray color that first caught our eye. Only after a closer look did we realize these lovely little plates were actually saucers!
Made in California by Franciscan China between 1948 and 1958, these vintage Palomar Grey saucers feature a distinctive muted purple-gray glaze that feels as beautiful and timeless today as it did decades ago.
Measuring 6 inches in diameter, they’re wonderfully versatile beyond their original purpose. Use them as small appetizer plates, for serving bread and butter, or for a little something sweet alongside afternoon coffee.
