A wonderful vintage copy of The Fannie Farmer Cookbook, published in 1965 as the 11th edition of this beloved American kitchen classic. Revised by Wilma Lord Perkins, a relative of Fannie Farmer, with illustrations by Alison Mason Kingsbury.
Perhaps my favorite detail is what remains tucked between its pages—a handwritten recipe from a former owner, an especially lovely little reminder that this cookbook once had a life in someone else’s kitchen.
The book also retains a return-address label from a previous owner and is in excellent vintage condition. Beautiful displayed in a kitchen or cookbook collection, but still very much ready to be opened, cooked from, and enjoyed.
