This beautiful teapot was made in France by Villeroy & Boch. Based on the back stamp and the time period in which the Saar Basin was governed by France and the UK, this was made between 1921 - 1933. A very rare find, it measures an overall 7 1/2" high and is 8" from spout to handle. It holds 22 fluid ounces. The colors are vivid and the detail is beautiful. There are some small chips at the rim of the opening as well as on the edge of the base (visible in photos). There is crazing across the entire surface of the teapot and it is heavy and discolored on the interior. For its age it is in overall very good condition.
