This pretty lusterware pitcher by Gray's Pottery features a bold floral design with copper lustre accents. It measures 5 1/2" high and is 7" long from spout to handle. It holds 28 fluid ounces. The back stamp dates manufacturing between 1933 - 1950. Gray's Pottery was founded in Stoke-On-Trent England in 1907 and produced wares until 1960 when they were taken over by Portmeirion Pottery. There is some gentle rubbing to the design and trim. Otherwise it has no other chips or cracks and is in overall very good condition.

Autumn in the Country

It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
