Pretty fruit design bread & butter plates trimmed in a cheery spring green. Marked Made in England on the underside and sold as a set of 4, each plate measures 6 1/2" round. One plate has a small chip on the underside base. They have no other chips or cracks and the design is crisp and intact. They are in overall excellent condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
