Vintage Hand Painted Vase

Smitten with this handmade vase that is marked 1954 on the underside of the base. It gave us some majolica vibes with the rich color but was probably made from a Holland mold. Holland molds were manufactured from 1946 - 1997 and gave beginner crafters the ability to create pottery with fabulous results. This vase stands 10 1/2" high and has no chips or cracks. It is in excellent visual condition.

*Please note: we did notice after creating this floral arrangement in it that it is not completely water tight. It seems to "sweat" along the base and would best for dried arrangements or if using water it should be placed on a tray/plate/coaster to protect the surface it is on.
