This stunning teapot was made by Forbes Silver which was founded in 1894 as a secondary trademark of Meriden Brittania Co.. They operated until 1935. The teapot stands 9 3/4" high and is 9" from spout to handle. It has a hinged lid that fits perfectly and holds 32 fluid ounces. It has heavy patina across the surface that is consistent. It could be polished up or left as perfectly imperfect as is. There is a small dent around the rim (visible in 3rd photo) and a small bead missing from around the base (visible in 1st photo). The interior is clean and it pours so smoothly. It is in overall very good condition.

Sweet Romance of Spring

We cling to the promise of rebirth; it is the hope that guides us through the long winter months. Signs of new life begin to appear almost timidly; as if the flora and fauna were checking to see if the world was indeed a safe place to come into. And once they determine it is ~ the whole world comes alive in an instant.
