This stunning tureen has a transferware design in a dark purple, almost brown tone. With gold trim and accents, it was made by Burleigh Ware and is called Kenilworth. The tureen measures 5 3/4" high and 10 3/4" from handle to handle. The opening is 7" round and it is about 5" deep. The under plate has the sweetest gold trimmed handles and is an overall 11 1/2" round from handle to handle. We love how the under plate could be used on its own as a cake plate for a small confection. There is some minimal wear to the gold trim and there are no chips or cracks. It is in excellent condition.
