Vintage C.T. Germany Hand Painted Vegetable Bowl / Serving Bowl

This is a piece that stopped us in our tracks. The well worn gold handles and accents has that shabby vibe we couldn't help but fall in love with and those colors. THOSE COLORS. Teal, rust, purple and pink all blend harmoniously in a bold floral design that can only be described as Modern Vintage. Can you tell how much we love it?
A little research uncovered that this piece was made by C.T. Germany which was founded in Altwasser in 1845. The backstamp reveals that this piece was made between 1870 - 1900. Modern Vintage indeed. It measures 12 1/2" long, 8 1/2" wide and about 3" deep. There is lots of rubbing and fading to the gold accents but that is what made us love it so much. There is light, gentle rubbing to some of the floral design but nothing that we think detracts from it's overall beauty and function. It has no chips or cracks and for a serving dish that is almost 150 years old it is in incredibly good condition.
