This double handle gravy boat was made in Austria by Altrohla. It was most likely for export to the US in the late 1800's through the early 20th century. With an unattached underplate and beautiful blue floral pattern each piece is back stamped and numbered. The handles have a gold painted accent and graceful curves. The boat measures 8 1/2" long, 5" wide (with handles) and 2 1/2" deep. The under plate is 9" long and 5" wide. There is gentle rubbing to the gold on the handles but it has no chips or cracks and is in overall excellent condition.
