Purchased from a private estate, this set of 4 soup bowls by Woods Burslem in the Watteau pattern was manufactured in the 1930's in England. Measuring 7 3/4" round and 1 1/2" deep, two bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The other two bowls have underside chips on the rim and some discoloration on both the surface and underside. There is also a hairline crack on the one that is visible from both surface and underside. They are in good overall condition.
