This Visnaud Limoges pattern is called The Meuse and it is easy to see why. Made for Hess Brothers in Allentown, PA who sold high end dry goods from 1897 - the mid 1990's. Measuring 8 3/4" long and 6" wide, there is some paint on one end of the under plate that looks as if it were placed there intentionally. This is visible in the 3rd photo. It has no chips or cracks and is in overall very good condition.
