Picture perfect vintage server. Did you notice those faux bois handles? Swoon worthy. Unmarked and hard to identify, it has an embossed fruit design that is reminiscent of late 70's and 80's pieces but it is heavier than a light weight ceramic typical of that time period. It feels very much like ironstone. It measures 10 1/2" long x 6" high x 3" deep. It has some slight discoloring on the interior edges from age but it has no chips or cracks and is in overall excellent condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
