Vintage Pair of Reg Plato England EPNS Weighted Taper Candle Holders

This pair of taper candleholders are made of weighted electro plated nickel silver. This generally means that they are reinforced with cement making them heavier weighted in the base than a typical piece of silver. They were made in England sometime between the late 19th century through the mid 20th century. They have a fluted, fretwork rim and could also double as bud vases. They stand 9" high and have some visible signs of prior use that add to their overall charm & allure. One rim is slightly bent (we love this wonky character!!) and the silver has not been polished ~ they are so perfectly imperfect as is.
