Manufactured in 1933 by Holmes & Edwards and called First Lady, this beautiful pair of serving spoons have a sleek, streamlined design that is perfect for today's table. They were designed by Lillian VM Helander and each spoon measures 8 1/4" long. They have scuffs and scratches consistent with prior use but are in overall excellent condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
