Manufactured in 1923 by Holmes & Edwards and called Century, this beautiful butter spreader has a sleek, streamlined design that is perfect for today's table. It was designed by John Leech and measures 5 1/2" long.  Sold as open stock (single spreader), please select quantity desired from drop down menu. It has minor scuffs and scratches consistent with prior use but is in overall excellent condition.

Autumn in the Country

It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
