It appears to have had very little, if any, prior use. There is one very small hairline near the spout that is visible from the interior; otherwise, it displays beautifully.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cb\u003eA little history:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003e Hall introduced the Autumn Leaf pattern for the Jewel Tea Company in 1933. Jewel’s traveling salesmen sold groceries door-to-door and customers could earn premium coupons toward household goods. Autumn Leaf pieces became part of that program and were distributed through authorized Jewel salesmen.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eThis example bears the “Tested and Approved by Mary Dunbar Jewel Homemakers Institute” backstamp.
