Made in the USA by WS George, this set of 4 bread and butter plates feature a pretty pink blossom design with a softly scalloped edge and gold rim. Made around 1948, each plate measures 6 1/2" round. There are light utensil marks on the surface and gentle rubbing to the rims. They have no chips or cracks, they are in overall good condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
