Simple and earthy, this pair of stoneware dinner plates feature a dark blue rim design on a speckled surface. Made in Japan for Sango Rainbow Stoneware, the pattern is called Mariana. They are dishwasher, oven & microwave safe and measure 10 1/2" across. There are moderate utensil marks on the surface and no chips or cracks. They are in overall excellent condition.

It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
