Details

Made in England around 1925, this rare WH Grindley covered vegetable bowl in the Chelsea Ivory Torbay pattern features a multicolor floral design in pinks, blues and green. WH Grindley and Co was founded in 1880 and produced wares under that name until 1976. The company was defunct by 1991. The bowl measures 9" long x 6 1/4" wide and is 2" deep. It has no chips or cracks and minimal gold loss. The bottom piece is in excellent condition with minimal crazing. The lid has heavier crazing and one discolored spot. Overall, it is in very good condition for its age.
