Details

Made in England around 1925, this rare WH Grindley covered butter dish in the Chelsea Ivory Torbay pattern features a multicolor floral design in pinks, blues and green. WH Grindley and Co was founded in 1880 and produced wares under that name until 1976. The company was defunct by 1991. The butter dish measures 4" high and the bottom piece is 7 3/4" across. There is crazing present but no chips or cracks. It is in excellent overall condition.
