Poole manufactured silver in Massachusetts from 1892 - 1971. This sugar bowl measures 4" high and 6 1/2" wide. It has a heavy patina around the entire exterior that could be polished up or left as perfectly imperfect as is. It is very heavy weighted. It is in excellent condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
