The homespun charm of Metlox Vernonware's Fruit Basket pattern is vintage at its best. Manufactured between 1961 - 1986, the bowl measures an overall 9" across. The inner bowl is 6 3/4" across and 2" deep. It appears to have had minimal (if any) prior use. It is in excellent condition.
Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
