Mads Stage was a Danish artist who lived from 1922 - 2004 and produced a series of watercolors depicting Copenhagen. This particular piece features a statue of King Frederick VIII that resides within the city. We love the soft, muted earth tones in this piece. It measures an overall 18" long x 16 1/2" wide. There are a few small nicks in the wood frame. It is tightly framed with hanging hardware attached to the back. It is in excellent overall condition.
