In rich shades of brown and apricot, this coupe cereal/soup bowl is perfect for the table all year long. Measuring 6 1/2" round and 2 1/2" deep, it is an ideal size for serving a variety of foods. Sold as open stock (single bowl), please select quantity desired from drop down menu. There is rubbing to the gold rim but there are no chips or cracks. It is in overall good condition.
Manufactured by Lord Nelson Pottery which was the trade name used by Elijah Cotton who was well known for making jugs and was one of the "Stoke on Trent potters". The trademark appeared in the late 40's and 50's and the crown was added to the marking in 1956. Lord Nelson Pottery was produced until 1981. There are markings on some of the under sides 12-71 and 1-72 which may be indicative of month/year they were manufactured.
