Handmade Black Walnut and Oak Bread and Pizza Peel

After receiving one of these gorgeous, handmade pizza peels from my father in law as a hostess gift,  I immediately asked him if he could make one more for the shop. So he did! It is made in black walnut and oak. The peel measures about 17 3/4" long (handle to end) and 10 1/4" wide. It is about 1/4" thick making it thin, lightweight and more practical for regular use. The board has been treated with Clark's Mineral and Food Oil and coated with Clark's Mineral Wax. The first three photos feature the peel that will be shipped.

*My father in law makes these boards from his log cabin in the mountains of NW South Carolina. He sources the wood on his own land and since they are naturally sourced material they contain small, natural imperfections in the wood.
