Hand Painted Charleton Desk Set by Abels Wasserberg & Co

Charming vintage desk set hand painted in the Charleton design by Abels, Wasserberg & Company. Based in New York City, AW & Co was in business from the 1930's into the 1970's buying blanks in glassware and porcelain from well know companies like Fenton etc. This rare desk set has 3 pieces ~ 2 square inkwells and a tray to hold both as well as a fountain pen. The tray measures 6 1/2" long x 4 1/2" wide and each inkwell is 2" square x 1 1/2" high. There is minimal (if any) loss to the design and no chips or cracks. It is in excellent condition.
