Curated Pair of Transferware Soup Bowls
Couldn't load pickup availability
This charming pair of mix match transferware soup bowls has been thoughtfully curated to bring a unique look to the table. One bowl was manufactured in England by Ernest Farmiloe ~ most likely around 1904. It is in the Brier pattern and measures 8 3/4" across the rim. The inner bowl is 6" across and 1" deep. There are underside chips that are slightly discolored but the bowl is in overall very good condition for its age. The other bowl is by Johnson Brothers and measures an overall 9" across. The inner bowl is 6" across and 1" deep. It has crazing across the surface and some minor paint loss around the edges. It is in very good overall condition.

Autumn in the Country
It was cold and crisp outside; the kind of fall evening where your heaviest knit sweater is barely warm enough in the shade but just right in the hazy glow of the fading sun. Woolen blankets stood at the ready to provide additional warmth and candles were lit so that the hazy glow would remain once the sun had set.
