This remarkable Copeland Spode cake plate measures 8 1/2" square. The pattern has been difficult to identify and this piece was manufactured to be retailed by Wm H Plummer in New York. It was made in July of 1907. There are some utensil marks on the surface and rubbing to the gold rim. There are no chips or cracks. For its age it is in overall excellent condition.
