This classic transferware platter features Studley Castle, a 19th century country house in Warwickshire. It measures 14 1/4" long x 10 1/2" wide. There are 4 chips on the edge (visible in photos) and discolored crazing across the surface. It is a piece that shows wear and that is exactly what we found so charming about it.
