Antique Mercer Pottery Pitcher

This gorgeous antique pitcher was made in NJ by Mercer in the late 1800's. Measuring 6 3/4" high and 6 1/2" from spout to handle, it has a matte blue, taupe and gold finish. This piece shows its age with heavy crazing around the spout and significant rubbing to the gold. There is a chip on the outer rim of the spout which is visible in the 3rd photo. It is best suited for someone who loves the stories that age and wear tells. It would make a perfect vase or add so much texture and character to open shelving.
