Antique Dunn Bennett Eureka Serving Platter

This antique Dunn Bennett serving platter is stunning. The back stamp dates it to being manufactured between 1886 - 1890 and the pattern is called Eureka. The transferware design appears to be a very rich brown that could almost translate as black. It measures 16 1/2" long x 12 1/2" wide. There is discoloration from age on the surface and the gold rim is significantly rubbed. It has no chips or cracks and for its age it is in excellent overall condition.
